Windows Live Writer

After reading what David wrote about WLW I thought I'd give it a download. It's snazzy enough from what I can tell. Easy enough to do things, so I imagine that if I ever bother to actually post on LJ, I'll probably get some use out of this.

That was easy enough to put a picture into the post with no messing around. And you can play around with it as well.

An update

So I've not been around much on the internet. Just after the turn of the year, my computer decided that it was a good time to die. So it did. I tried replacing the power supply and the case, but this didn't fix things. D'oh! The case is funky though, it's black with 2 blue LED case fans on the front. Keeps my computer cooler than it's ever been. Anyway, I then tried putting in some of my spare parts but this still solved nothing. So I bought a new motherboard and fitted it. Still nothing. Bastards. I then asked my Dad for a loan to buy a new processor and he said that they would buy me one which was nice. So me and Keri goto Prague from 9th of January till the 13th. When I arrive home I ask how the processor order is going. There had been a delay but it would be arriving in a couple of days. It arrives at my folks' house so I goto my Mum's work and collect the processor from her. I come home, open up my computer and unwrap the processor...

It's the wrong fucking size! I've never really bought processors seperate from motherboards so I didn't realise about all this socket business. So I have to return the processor and get my Dad to order another. This one arrives, I collect it from my Mum's work again and bring it home. I fit it in and start my computer.

Hurrah! It decides to work. So £150 and a ton of new parts later, I now have a working computer. Since I got the internet, I've never been away from the internet / computer for any length of time, with the exception of holidays / honeymoon *which was different*. My computer was broken for 3 weeks. THREE WEEKS! How I managed to survive I will never know.

So that was my January, really.

The Registry Office, The Wedding & The Honeymoon - The post you've all been waiting for! (Part 1of2)

Right, where to start? I've been putting off writing this post for nearly a week as we've been sorting out photos, having a Halloween party, and other such things since our return from Switzerland. I will start with Friday 14th October. Be warned, this post will be perhaps the most picture intensive post I have ever done. Seriously, expect many many photos! And apologies for any spelling, grammar, etc mistakes that creep into this post. It's long and I can't be arsed to go through it all again. I believe there to be about 47 photos :)
